L.E. Roselli’s Food Specialties was founded in 1969 by Leo (“L.E.”) Roselli and his wife Dolores on a property in Medford, New Jersey, that had once been a working farm.

Leo immigrated to South Jersey in the 1930s, and by the 1960s, he and Dolores began bottling homemade Italian sauces and crafting meals based on cherished family recipes. From the very beginning, the Rosellis emphasized authenticity and homemade flavor—values that became the hallmark of their brand.

Over the decades, the business grew into a beloved local institution, expanding beyond sauces to offer a wide variety of homemade Italian entrées, including lasagna, meatballs, stuffed shells, soups, and more. Today, the market is filled with gourmet Italian imports and specialty items carefully curated to reflect the richness of Italian culinary tradition.

In 2025, after more than 55 years of family ownership, the Roselli family sold the business to their longtime neighbors and friends, the Johnson family of Johnson’s Corner Farm. The Johnsons have committed to preserving everything that made Roselli’s special—keeping the beloved recipes and menu unchanged while continuing to serve the community with the same high-quality, home-cooked meals that have defined the Roselli name for generations.
